Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Salem has a number of groups, intended to foster Christian fellowship and spiritual maturity among members and regular attendees, and to reach out to the community of Salem with the loving heart of Christ.

We also hold a monthly potluck meal following the worship service.

Men's Bible Study

Familiarity with the Word of God is vital to growth in the Christian faith. Each Friday morning, men meet for Bible study from 6:45 am to 7:50 am. at the Ikebox, 299 Cottage Street NE in Salem.  Feel free to drop in and join us.

Women's Bible Study - 7 pm, every otherWednesday and Friday

Women's Ministry - 7:00 pm, Friday.
 
The Women's Ministry at Evergreen is dedicated to helping each woman and girl in the church to glorify God in her home, church and the community.  This is done through Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, mercy ministry and outreach.  The team leaders meet together four times a year to pray, plan and coordinate events. For further information, please contact Jessyca Yang at

Women's Book Club   - 7:00 pm, every third Thursday of the month.

The Women's Book Club reads one book per month, ranging from the Classics and books on the Bestsellers List, to biographies, histories and novels. Discussions address writing style, content and social application.  Books are chosen by recommendation.  Good food is an integral part of the evening.  For further information, contact Nancy Seyfert at (503) 371-7535.

Community Groups - Every other Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

Budding Artists   

Budding Artists is a free art class for children ages 4-18 that aims to provide students with experiences in different art media such as ceramics, painting, collage, sculpture, charcoal, pastels, and others. Each class includes some art history, instruction in the day’s project, and the rest of the time is spent actually doing art. All supplies are provided by Evergreen Church.
